Events Done Right.

We studied many event plugins over a long period of time and decided they were either far too complicated, had too many options not needed or indeed didn’t have enough – something that WordPress allows us to create is a great simple solution with custom post types. The result is everything you need and nothing you don’t.

Zero Calendar View.

We purposely didn’t create a calendar of sorts. We reviewed many, many religious based sites out in the open to realize that not everyone has a constant flow of events. This can look bad when all a visitor is presented with is a blank calendar for this month.

calendar1We create a dynamic event page that lists all upcoming events – IN EVENT DATE ORDER (most recent upcoming event first), with pagination if required, this way even if your next event is 2 months away, it’s there with all your other events and presents a more active area of your website. Not only that, but we automatically pull in the 4 most upcoming events from your entries in to your home page.


Interactive Maps and Social Sharing.

The maps that are displayed on your event page can be zoomed in and out, change the view type as you normally would on google maps, and then click the map link to enable visitors to receive driving directions – making sure your website visitors become event attendees.

Immediately above the map, and below whatever content you wish to display in your post, we include automatically the site-wide social sharing links so that your visitors can become a beacon for your message, fueling interest in your events and helping to spread the word via google+, Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter to assist in increasing attendee numbers.

Simple Event Creation.

We understand that you don’t have the time to learn how to set different widgets, panels and other complex settings, that’s why we have the following text input areas that help create the perfect event page. With the inclusion of a notes section to your event, you can add in more personal information or even a call-out for assistance/help needed or just a message about parking for example.
